These are captured product screens from the app: segment building, voter review, field packets, and plain-language querying.

CA Voter segment builder with live voter table and filter chips.
STEP 01

Build the universe

Captured from the product

Filter county, party, turnout, and propensity in one place, then inspect the actual voter rows before you commit the list to field or mail.

CA Voter voter review screen with CRM panel and issue notes.
STEP 02

Review the voter record

Captured from the product

Inspect voter-level context with turnout and BISG signal detail instead of treating every segment like a blind export.

CA Voter field packet board with packet ownership and status.
STEP 03

Build the field packet

Captured from the product

Move from segment to field-ready packet with a printable route structure the campaign can actually hand to canvassers.

CA Voter copilot chat screen with a natural-language voter targeting prompt.
STEP 04

Ask in plain language

Captured from the product

Use the copilot to translate campaign questions into a usable filter instead of rebuilding the segment by hand every time.

What it does

The campaign toolkit, rebuilt from scratch.

Everything a campaign manager, field director, or first-time candidate needs — one place, all shipped today.

Filter 22.9M voters, fast

Party, county, propensity, BISG ethnicity, and turnout tier — all at once, no indexing step, no wait.

Real BISG ethnicity

Census 2010 × ACS ZCTA priors, the same classifier the CFPB uses — not a surname list. Every chip links to the tract prior behind it.

Natural-language copilot

Type “Latino NPPs in Madera under 35” and get a parsed filter. Segment in seconds, in plain English.

Tool-transparent chat

Every number comes back with the exact query that produced it — auditable for your comms director, no hallucinated stats.

AI briefings, per voter

A one-click summary of turnout history, propensity, ethnicity signal, and a suggested outreach move.

Walk packets + offline canvass

Print-ready packets, bilingual scripts, and a mobile canvass mode that queues offline when signal drops.

Consultant workspaces

Keep client contests separate, then hand segments into email, direct mail, phone bank, or field — with status logging.

Scope

What this is. What this isn't.

The campaign tool market is crowded. Here's where we fit, in plain language — and where we don't.

+What this is
  • 01A modern voter file, filtered in the browser.
  • 02BISG ethnicity scoring grounded in Census + ACS data.
  • 03Voter CRM, saved universes, and consultant workspaces in the same app.
  • 04Canvass mode, walk packets, outreach logging, and follow-up queues.
  • 05Priced so a first-time candidate can actually buy it.
What this isn't
  • 01A replacement for your field team's judgment.
  • 02A fundraising, website, or event-management suite.
  • 03A scraped or resold voter file — bring your own SoS file.
  • 04A substitute for campaign delivery accounts when direct email or SMS credentials are required.
  • 05An end-around on § 2194. Buyer qualification still applies.
Pricing

How it works

Three steps. No implementation overhead.

STEP 01

Request access

Tell us your campaign, role, and race. We verify eligibility under Cal. Elec. Code § 2194 before turning on access. Nothing automated - a human reads every request.

STEP 02

Bring your SoS file

Drop in the California Secretary of State voter file you already purchased. You pick refresh cadence. We don't resell the file.

STEP 03

Work the race

Open the app. Build a segment. Save the universe, run voter CRM, build packets, canvass offline, and hand off outreach without rebuilding the list in three other tools.

FAQ

Questions worth answering up front.

If yours isn't answered below, write to hello@cavoter.io. A human reads it.

Each campaign manages its own Secretary of State refresh cadence — weekly, monthly, whatever you paid for. We surface the refresh date prominently in the UI so you never ship outreach against stale data.
Yes. Any California candidate or committee qualifying under § 2194 — party, no party, ballot measure, judicial, school board, water district. We don't gatekeep by ideology. The law doesn't either.
Yes. CSV exports, direct-mail householding, walk packets, canvass mode, and logged outreach workflows are live. Direct email send is live. SMS and phone-bank workflows can run through exports now and direct integrations where campaign credentials are configured.
We're in private beta now, onboarding verified campaigns one at a time. Access requests get reviewed in the order we can verify them. No firm public-launch date yet — we're not going to rush a voter tool.
Built in California by a small team. Questions go to a human, not a ticketing queue.
